A Brief Introduction to this Page's Purpose

Not Another Dime! is dedicated to documenting the assorted, and sometimes wild, details of Mr. Ken Whitman's business dealings within the Role Playing Game (RPG) industry. This place is NOT intended to be a medium of discussion about Mr. Whitman, pro or con, but instead be a "jumping off" point to enable the reader to make their own informed decision about Mr. Whitman's history and business character. (Editor's Note: After years of this documentation, we simply cannot be anything BUT "con" when it comes to Mr. Whitman)

Whenever possible, links to the original source material will be provided, but in many cases that information may have been deleted or secured behind restricted-access (like a private Facebook page) accounts.

Anything posted here is the opinion of the retrospective author and any content shown is to be considered "fair use" and posted for educational purposes only.

Note to authors: Please begin each post with the original date of the event being documented in the format of YYYY.MM.DD (i.e. If the event being recorded happened on March 15th, 2015 and today's date was August 8th, 2018 the beginning of the post's title would be 2015.03.15 and not 2018.08.08) so readers can use the Chronology page to find specific information. Please use appropriate tags when possible for the same reason.

Note to contributors: If you have some valid data to send, screenshots, links to other Ken Whitman stories, etc., please feel free to send a gmail to notanotherdimeblog. We'll look into it and post if appropriate.

Ken "Whit" Whitman Pops up on Kickstarter to Rehash Old Lies to Some Backers*

Ken "Whit" Whitman Pops up on Kickstarter to Rehash Old Lies to Some BackersThanks to a head's up we found out weeks earlier than we would have on our own that our main man Ken "Whit" Whitman has resurfaced on Kickstarter to "kick the can" that is fulfillment down the road.

As is often the case, this update is highly suspicious.

Kenny doesn't login or update Kickstarter projects for years and then happens to log in on the day the Unmortal Kickstarter launches....you know the one he is definitely not involved with although his fake company manages second billing?

So near the end of the Unmortal campaign he logs in again and sends and update to the Pencil Dice Kickstarter. Now we haven't got a screen shot of that update (yet), but we're told it is that he'd acquired the pencil stamping machine and is cranking out 100 pencils a day....

....wait, haven't we heard this before?

Almost 3 years between Ken "Whit" Whitman lies, er updates.
Almost 3 years between lies, er updates.

So if he's making pencils now, why hasn't he told the RPG Pencil Dice Kickstarter Backers yet?

Ken "Whit" Whitman Decides NO UPDATE FOR YOU!!!

UPDATE:
Thankfully it didn't take long for the community to respond and get us what we need for documentation:
Click on the pic for a surprise!

"We can produce about 100 to 120 an hour and will be shipping in the next few weeks, HOWEVER, it could take up to 60-90 days to get all the orders complete. Thank you -Ken"

Hmm.........60-90 days, now lets do some math. 87,504 pencils needed, divided by 90 days is 972 pencils a day. 972 pencils divided by 120 an hour is 8.1 hours per day. Now this is on the extreme side, in Kenny's favor. The other extreme is 14.58 hours a day (100 pencils per hour over the next 60 days). Call us pessimistic, but we HIGHLY doubt Kenny has the fortitude to spend 8 hours a day over the next three months cranking out pencils by hand.

*We acknowledge that it is technically possible that Ken "Whit" Whitman is actually telling the truth and producing "100 pencils a day", but since he's said that before and it's been 1035 days between these two dates he should have been able to produce 103,500 pencils towards fulfillment. If our math holds up he should have easily produced the 87,504 pencils needed for fulfillment.......just saying.
