So it shouldn't be a surprise that Ken "Whit" Whitman's Kickstarter, that he's CLEARLY heavily involved in despite assertations to the contrary, has made it's goal since it was only $2500...
......but did it really?
On a whim one of our field researchers decided to do some quick math and add up the number of backers and the "contributions" listed and her numbers didn't quite add up. Not wanting to be made fun of, 'cause maths is fun(!), she went ahead and submitted not only a graphic spelling it out, but a quick excel spreadsheet and it all checks out.
Now, yes......people CAN donate more than the amount shown, but on average more than $10 more than the pledge amounts? Even if that were the case......one of the big donors might have tossed in a handful of Benjamins ($100 bills), but why would the Patron count be short as well? Yeah something doesn't add up at all.

We're literally 9 backers and $511 off between the two counts.....something just seems off, but of course it has since day 1!
