In last week's interview Ken "Whit" Whitman said he was sitting on a lot of pencils, just waiting to produce his promised Pencil Dice and RPG Pencil Dice. We're still working on combing through the video for content, and there will be something soon(ish), but we don't have the actual number of pencils he mentioned, but I doubt anyone believes whatever non-negative number he mentioned in the interview.
Evidently producing ANY pencil dice is too much work and too expensive......or is it?
At a recent convention, one of our editors spotted a small pencil that was a giveaway from this year's Free RPG Day. It almost went unnoticed, but then...there it was: numbers. A no-shit (non-Ken "Whit" Whitman) Pencil Dice in the wild!
These dice were from Lucky Duck Games, a Polish outfit. Granted it is only one color/style, but a Polish outfit was not only able to produce a Pencil Die, but they got them shipped out as well! The die is for a quick little pocket game they've produced called Paper App Dungeon, which you can demo here.
So basically you can spend $10 and get a single P6 (that's what Lucky Duck Games is calling it), but you get a game tossed in as well....sure beats $2 to get no pencils at all from Kenny......
