In the meantime:
Of course the first think Ken did after the interview was post another update to his Kickstarters where he couldn't leave well enough alone and did a pitch for his most "recent" project Unnatural......which of course has NOTHING to do with the Kickstarter projects he isn't working on.
"Dear Kickstarter Backers,
I want to take this opportunity to sincerely apologize for the unfulfilled promises from my d20 Entertainment Kickstarter campaigns (2013-2015). I understand that my failures to deliver have caused frustration, disappointment, and a breach of trust. You believed in these projects enough to support them financially, and I failed to honor that commitment.
While I know words alone cannot make up for the past, I want you to know that I have not forgotten my obligations. I am currently developing concrete plans to address these unfulfilled projects. Rather than make new promises without substance, I am taking the time to create realistic, achievable goals for fulfillment.
As a gesture of goodwill while I finalize these plans, I would like to share my latest film project with you. "Unnatural" follows a gunslinger on a mission from God who must track down supernatural creatures as penance for his past sins. You can view it at: https://vimeo.com/1024616167?share=copy Password: ########*
This is not meant as a replacement for your rewards, but rather as bonus content to show that I am actively creating new work and haven't abandoned my creative commitments.
Moving Forward:
- I am cataloging all outstanding obligations from each Kickstarter
- Developing practical fulfillment plans for each project
- Will reach out with specific details once plans are finalized
- I will provide a more detailed update by the end of the year with concrete plans and timelines.
Thank you for your continued patience. I understand that actions speak louder than words, and I am committed to making this right.
Sincerely, Ken Whitman"
We're just going to leave this here.....
