A Brief Introduction to this Page's Purpose

Not Another Dime! is dedicated to documenting the assorted, and sometimes wild, details of Mr. Ken Whitman's business dealings within the Role Playing Game (RPG) industry. This place is NOT intended to be a medium of discussion about Mr. Whitman, pro or con, but instead be a "jumping off" point to enable the reader to make their own informed decision about Mr. Whitman's history and business character. (Editor's Note: After years of this documentation, we simply cannot be anything BUT "con" when it comes to Mr. Whitman)

Whenever possible, links to the original source material will be provided, but in many cases that information may have been deleted or secured behind restricted-access (like a private Facebook page) accounts.

Anything posted here is the opinion of the retrospective author and any content shown is to be considered "fair use" and posted for educational purposes only.

Note to authors: Please begin each post with the original date of the event being documented in the format of YYYY.MM.DD (i.e. If the event being recorded happened on March 15th, 2015 and today's date was August 8th, 2018 the beginning of the post's title would be 2015.03.15 and not 2018.08.08) so readers can use the Chronology page to find specific information. Please use appropriate tags when possible for the same reason.

2023.02.06 Unmortal Saga NOW in Pre-Production?
So...looking at the Little Monster Entertainment Facebook page.....lots of pretty pics, but one of particular interest is this poster sneak peek for Places & Powers: The Unmortal Saga.

This is the IMDB listing for the project, with our main man on Writing and Directing duty. .....

.....hey wait a minute, we already covered the two Unmortal "spin-offs" and Places & Powers.....not one of them! 

Hmm.....well Rogues Quest still has a listing, and the intro to Places & Powers is close enough to the old Out of Time that maybe it's just a rebranding...

...speaking of "old"....has anyone seen the original Unmortal Short Film? You know...the one that Kickstarted $2500? That one was Unmortal: Out of Time, which had the listing that may have been rebranded as Places & Powers.....but there were two IMDB entries with similar (well identical) descriptions. Even if there was a double entry and the two listed projects were one AND that was-really-just-one-project-after-all was rebranded...

...Where is hell is a fricken update on Kickstarter?

All we've posted here is observation and speculation...no word through Kickstarter. I'm sure $2500 worth of backers would like to have heard something since August 2021.

Is this a new thing or a re-branded old thing?

...if this project is the same, why is it just now being mentioned as going into pre-production? What the hell was going on up until now?

Good chance this is just another example of Ken "Whit" Whitman kicking a project fulfillment "down the road"......
