So we still haven't heard much of anything with regards to the Unmortal: Out of Time Kickstarter. Still not a single back message since August of 2021.....when the film was allegedly in post-production. We don't know anything about film production, but we do know enough about Kickstarter to know that 9 months without a peep on Kickstarter updates or even responses on the comments page....well, it is a long time.
This really isn't newsworthy in itself and we were just going to tack on a quick edit to the previous post about the subject, but then we got to taking a peek at IMDB....
....and we're a little shocked.
If you remember back last June we had someone reach out to the Unmortal: Out of Time Kickstarter and ask about Ken "Whit" Whitman's involvement, just to be told (I) "assure you that Mr. Whitman is not involved with our company's business practices and is merely part of the creative team along with several dozen other talented contractors."
So Kenny's not that involved in this project then.....oh, ok. Does somebody want to tell IMDB?
Last I checked, being a film's director (or one of) is a bit more than a bit part......
Well at least that's all he's involved in.....
OFFS, there's a second project and Ken "Whit" Whitman is getting to act in it?
Great. Ken "Whit" Whitman has a main role (?...well he did get the #2 billing....) as "Lord Dumonu"? Really?
Seriously guys, we cannot make this shit up if we tried. Ken "Whit" Whitman is being billed as Lord Dumb-on-you in this project. This NAD editor doesn't know if that's a joke or some snipe at Kenny's retractors or what.
Lord Dumb-on-you....either way, it is fricken hilarious. Even if it's just a one-off....
Wait, so the side project has a side project and Ken "Whit" Whitman has the top billing as Lord Dumb-on-you?!
This is clearly not a minor part of this overall Unmortal "thing" and it's all a bit much, but there it is. We again call bullshit that Kenny isn't all up in this project like we originally projected. At least it looks like he's not scamming the RPG industry this time. If only these actor/producer types would spend more time on looking up who they want to get in bed with (project-wise).......
