A Brief Introduction to this Page's Purpose

Not Another Dime! is dedicated to documenting the assorted, and sometimes wild, details of Mr. Ken Whitman's business dealings within the Role Playing Game (RPG) industry. This place is NOT intended to be a medium of discussion about Mr. Whitman, pro or con, but instead be a "jumping off" point to enable the reader to make their own informed decision about Mr. Whitman's history and business character. (Editor's Note: After years of this documentation, we simply cannot be anything BUT "con" when it comes to Mr. Whitman)

Whenever possible, links to the original source material will be provided, but in many cases that information may have been deleted or secured behind restricted-access (like a private Facebook page) accounts.

Note to authors: Please begin each post with the original date of the event being documented in the format of YYYY.MM.DD (i.e. If the event being recorded happened on March 15th, 2015 and today's date was August 8th, 2018 the beginning of the post's title would be 2015.03.15 and not 2018.08.08) so readers can use the Chronology page to find specific information. Please use appropriate tags when possible for the same reason.

Folks might be wondering what our main man has been up to these days and it's clear that he'd be trying to stay out of the spotlight some. How much might be up to interpretation....

There is this article from the Kinsport Times Tennessee that clearly shows Ken "Whit" Whitman directing a film called "The Whittler"......seriously we cannot make this stuff up. Allegedly it is set for Amazon Prime in July.....

The article clearly establishes that "Whit Whitman" is the director and the thing that bothers us here at NAD is this quote from Producer Jodi Springs, "I found Whit on an actors’ website, contacted him and got a call a few days later asking if we could meet him in Winchester." Evidently Jodi's daughter Mahalah "showed some interest in performing", so Jodi sought out Ken "Whit" Whitman and put down some money to make her daughter's dreams come true.

Knowing our hero's history this whole thing has nightmare written all over it. Nightmares are technically dreams though, right? It's hard to believe that this is going to end well......

Part of the reason, aside from all of the other posts here, we're apprehensive is because of The Whittler's....and Whit Whitman's IMDB pages. Ken "Whit" Whitman is NOT listed as the director of the film on it's page, and he hasn't listed the film on his page either. For someone well documented as being a HUGE self-promoter.......this doesn't seem right. The Assistant Director is listed, but not the Director? Something stinks here.

We're guessing that Jodi didn't Google Ken or Whit Whitman. If she had....she might have found out about NAD and saved herself some headache. Of course, maybe she did and was able to take some sort of precautions to protect herself.

I guess we'll see come June......

We did also notice that allegedly Ken "Whit" Whitman moved to High Point North Carolina last year, and LinkedIn has him listed as "Executive Vice President Of Operations at Brittano Group"

First result for "Brittano Group" PERMANENTLY CLOSED.

He lists himself as the president of a dead company. I know I shouldn't be surprised at all by his antics. We are still waiting for him to make one pencil from the pencil dice kickstarter.

  3. I thought with the experience from his current film "The Whittler" that he can hand-whittle and paint thousands of pencils, old-school style! LOL
