A Brief Introduction to this Page's Purpose

Not Another Dime! is dedicated to documenting the assorted, and sometimes wild, details of Mr. Ken Whitman's business dealings within the Role Playing Game (RPG) industry. This place is NOT intended to be a medium of discussion about Mr. Whitman, pro or con, but instead be a "jumping off" point to enable the reader to make their own informed decision about Mr. Whitman's history and business character. (Editor's Note: After years of this documentation, we simply cannot be anything BUT "con" when it comes to Mr. Whitman)

Whenever possible, links to the original source material will be provided, but in many cases that information may have been deleted or secured behind restricted-access (like a private Facebook page) accounts.

Anything posted here is the opinion of the retrospective author and any content shown is to be considered "fair use" and posted for educational purposes only.

Note to authors: Please begin each post with the original date of the event being documented in the format of YYYY.MM.DD (i.e. If the event being recorded happened on March 15th, 2015 and today's date was August 8th, 2018 the beginning of the post's title would be 2015.03.15 and not 2018.08.08) so readers can use the Chronology page to find specific information. Please use appropriate tags when possible for the same reason.

2019.03.09 Surprising Ken Whitman "Update" on Spinward Traveller
Color us surprised! After just shy of 2 & 1/2 years after his last update, Ken "Whit" Whitman graces the Spinward Traveller Kickstarter with another update titled "Keep Hope Alive: Spinward Traveller is Coming Soon..."

Really Kenny....Really? Why should your 827 backers have any hope after more than four years late on your promised delivery, especially since your spate, all 6, of Kickstarters from "D20 Entertainment" have gone unfulfilled, at least by you and your "Company".

Four years late....on this project and 2.5 years without an update...why this and why now? Is this just another attempt to kick the can that is your Kickstarter obligations, down the road? Is there some legal action prompting this, or something altogether different that is now motivating you? We genuinely would like to know, but in an appropriately documented fashion. This writer's $5 bet is that he's testing the waters to see if people are still paying attention (Surprise Kenny, we are!)

We here at Not Another Dime (For Ken Whitman) were not savvy enough to see your Kickscamming in time to toss you a buck on each fraudulent Kickstarter campaign (that is our opinion, which we are legally entitled to express) so we could see these updates, but we suspect there is nothing of real substance or someone would have forwarded us the info (Hint, Hint)...

    He copied a music piece on the hurdy gurdy instrument, called "Beowulf" by Peter Pringle. I am sure he secured the rights to this music legal and proper...he is nothing if not ethical?

    Look up little monsters entertainment North Carolina. He's also not on the radar for selling high-end stolen comic books in Somerset Kentucky . They now left to North Carolina where he started production company LOL after he was blacklisted off The Walking Dead

    Four months now and not a peep from Kenny-boy. Normally, a videographer with a work in progress will be eager to give some news and show some finished clip, or a CGI effect, or something from their ongoing work. Not Kenny. His pronouns are "can't" and "won't".

    NINE months after Kenny's claim that Spinward Traveller is coming! STILL no update.
    I'm done, I can't comment on a stagnant pond that doesn't change in years. At least paint dries and changes when you apply it, but this is even more boring. I am patiently waiting for some trans-national legal or crime-prevention action.
