A Brief Introduction to this Page's Purpose

Not Another Dime! is dedicated to documenting the assorted, and sometimes wild, details of Mr. Ken Whitman's business dealings within the Role Playing Game (RPG) industry. This place is NOT intended to be a medium of discussion about Mr. Whitman, pro or con, but instead be a "jumping off" point to enable the reader to make their own informed decision about Mr. Whitman's history and business character. (Editor's Note: After years of this documentation, we simply cannot be anything BUT "con" when it comes to Mr. Whitman)

Whenever possible, links to the original source material will be provided, but in many cases that information may have been deleted or secured behind restricted-access (like a private Facebook page) accounts.

Anything posted here is the opinion of the retrospective author and any content shown is to be considered "fair use" and posted for educational purposes only.

Note to authors: Please begin each post with the original date of the event being documented in the format of YYYY.MM.DD (i.e. If the event being recorded happened on March 15th, 2015 and today's date was August 8th, 2018 the beginning of the post's title would be 2015.03.15 and not 2018.08.08) so readers can use the Chronology page to find specific information. Please use appropriate tags when possible for the same reason.

Note to contributors: If you have some valid data to send, screenshots, links to other Ken Whitman stories, etc., please feel free to send a gmail to notanotherdimeblog. We'll look into it and post if appropriate.

2018.07.26 Ken "Whit" Whitman Tries to Take Credit for Other's Work....AGAIN

2018.07.26 Ken "Whit" Whitman Tries to Take Credit for Other's Work....AGAIN
It isn't everyday that Ken "Whit" Whitman surprises us, but today he has stooped to a new low...even though we should have seen it coming.

Evidently Kenny has tried to claim that Zombie Orpheus LLC stepping up on behalf of the many people scammed by Ken "Whit" Whitman counts as him fulfilling his Kickstarter obligations for KoDT:LAS.

NOT...EVEN....CLOSE.....KENNY!

1st off, someone else doing the work is not the same as you doing the work on the promised timeline. 2nd, the DVDs being sent out are not the promised Blu-Rays, there still isn't the promised movie poster (that you didn't have the rights to do anyway) and it definitely isn't the after-party or the KoDT:20 Years of Cover Books (especially the mythical softcovers!), or the untold amount of KenzerCo product you sold out of the back of your virtual van.

2018.07.26 Ken "Whit" Whitman Tries to Take Credit for Other's Work....AGAIN
Wow....just wow...

"TO THE SUPREME COURT OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK I, Ken Whitman, the defendant,
respectfully answers the complaints posed by the Plaintiff, Louis J. Desy Jr.:

On July 25th, 2018, backers of the KODT Kickstarer were delivered 3 DVDs based on the footage shot from the funds collected from our Kickstarter. Whereas, we have not completly_all oblagations, we are 95% there and making progress!

Mr. Desy asserst I did not send files to Kenzer, however, Kenzer along with ZOE studios, edited
and delivered the DVDs to all backers.

Kenzer Co., was given the complete backer list, and proptly ship DVD product.

Below is an image of one of the backers receiving the DVDs. Mr. Desy should be reciving his product very soon."

This sounds just like the time Ken "Whit" Whitman "cancelled" the GenCon after party where he didn't reserve a room, didn't invite the actors, and didn't live up to the promises made to backers and those who bought invitations for said party off of his website. He tried to take credit for ZOE's last minute ad-hoc party and then his own ad-hoc party scheduled 26 hours out and without any of the promised offerings.

2018.07.27 EDIT: For the record Kenny, backers were not "delivered 3 DVDs". You just saw, either here or on Facebook, that Jolly happened to have 3 copies of the DVD that ZOE produced. If you're going to lie in court documents (which is generally considered perjury), you might want to at least make it a believable lie.

  1. I just reread what Whitman filed as exhibit ZA. It is a complete and total mess.

  2. Yes. I don't see how Kenny will convince a judge that not doing the work he was paid for is doing the work he was paid for. This is Reality.
