Instead we shared it with Erik at Tenkar's Tavern so at least someone outside of this group saw it. We (well, I) thought about forwarding it to Jolly Blackburn, but he's been pestered enough.
We did do a high-level pass on seeing what our main-man has been up to, and while we're not done with that, we did uncover some stuff that seems to feed into what we suspect Old Kenny, er Whit Whitman, has been up to: using his "Film School" as a means of scamming the "Government" (Federal and/or the State of Kentucky).
Now it's still speculation on our part, but the activity we've seen only helps to strengthen our supposition.
1st there is the whole "Little Monsters" vs. "Little Monster" bit....notice the only difference is the plurality.
2nd we have a rather plussed-up IMDB entry. It's almost like Kenny is trying to clean up his image, as if he didn't rip off thousands of people over decades of scams.....his wikipedia entry is pretty sparse on the subject as well.
3rd is we have a couple more companies for Ken "Whit" Whitman, or should we say Kenneth E Whitman Jr.:
Now we cannot blame Kenny for this, but it was interesting how we could not find these companies by searching for his name. The "Jr" at the end, which isn't on all of his filings by the way, seems to throw a monkey wrench into the search. Adding it to his last name brings up no results, and leaving it off doesn't show these companies, which is why it went unfound for so long. We ended up only finding this by clicking-through on some of the officers.
Now we'd already covered the whole idea of an inactive non-profit company vs. a very-much for-profit company, but did you notice something from the screenshot above? The Little Monster/Little Monsters companies aren't listed! Yeah, well those companies are listed as inactive, but in good standing.
So.....Kenny has one defunct non-profit and three/five For Profit companies all working in the film industry? That doesn't look fishy at all!
Also, Kenny has a new website for Little Monsters! Just more of the same broken links, fake employees pics, attempts to sell stuff...
Here's the filings for the two new companies, which will get added to the Pseudonyms page:
