Ken "Whit" Whitman Starts Stage 1 for a Future Film Project on Facebook

 

Thanks to a head's-up from Tenkar's Tavern we have more Ken "Whit" Whitman info to post. 

Evidently our main man is shooting another movie and he wants people to help "subsidize" his project. This time around though instead of just giving him your money he wants you to give him your time!

Now we know how much Kenny likes to mess around and delete/hide/edit his Facebook posts, so we're posting screenshots and the body of the text as well. Of course we're certain that Ken "Whit" Whitman would approve since he thinks any publicity is good publicity and we're "helping" in getting this notice "out there".

PLEASE IF THIS IS YOUR 1ST TIME ON THIS BLOG, READ SOME OTHER POSTS BEFORE EVEN THINKING ABOUT WORKING WITH/FOR KEN or WHIT WHITMAN!!!

Seriously....anything to do with his previous film projects, most notably his last "pilot"!

TITLE: UNMORTAL

NON-UNION, PAID $100/day

DEADLINE: MAY 30, 2021

LOCATION: Louisville KY, Transportation and lodging provided

SUBMISSION DUE DATE: May 30, 2021

LOGLINE: Punished by the gods, a disillusioned warrior seeking redemption must travel back through his lifetime and undo his evil actions that destroyed the world.

SHOOT DATE: Nov-Dec 2021

STARING: Former WWE Superstar Al Snow.

BARTENDER___

30+ years old, all ethnicities male. A ruthless, slimy, wishy-washy Tavern owner who cut rats for food and re-bottles undrunk ale from customers' glasses.  He acts tough but will flip sides if there a gold coin to be made. DAY PLAYER

BOUNTY HUNTER___

25+ years old, all ethnicities male. An arrogant man's man.  Maybe the best fighter in his village, but no match for JOSS.  His sharp tongue will find him food for the maggots. DAY PLAYER

STABLE BOY / PETER___

9 to 12 years old, all ethnicities male. A young businessman trying to help his mom make money in the town by selling the family business services to everyone who enters town.  DAY PLAYER

JUNSEE____

18 to 25 years old, white female. Junsee was raised to track and kill her own father for the sake of humanity. She is cold, calculating, and nearly emotionless. Her skills of archery are unmatched and her willingness to dispatch anyone who gets in her way has earned her the nickname The Dragon Lady. LEAD

FIK’CREE____

30 to 40 years old, Black female. A highly trained combat mage, her skills cause her to act out independently regardless of her family's wishes. She is intense, fierce, and independent. LEAD

OM’EX____

18 to 30 years old, all ethnicities female. Om’Ex is a messenger of the gods. She can be summoned to gain knowledge known by the gods. She is smart, beautiful, and very powerful. Sometimes she appears as a waitress, townsfolk, or kings guard to help the protagonist. SUPPORTING

CHASSNA____

30 to 40 years old, white female. Cessna has become a formative combat mage while maintaining her ability to care about her loved ones. Although she is caring, she is also smart and tactful. SUPPORTING

SAGE NARRIN____

30-40 years old, Asain female. Sage Narrin is steadfast in her belief in the Gods.  She is wise, kind, and decisive. SUPPORTING" 

Notice how all the main characters, aside from the "WWE Star" are all female? The leads and supporting cast are all women and the men are just "day players". How much you want to bet that one of the LEADs is Kenny's daughter? By our rough math she'd be about 23 or so.....

He's put together a film for her once already, and had others help pay for his "gift. Maybe this time around is more a college graduation gift instead of a high school graduation gift?

He is listed as the writer for another one of his daughter's flicks: Resident Bodies.

2021.05.05 Ken "Whit" Whitman Logs in to Kickstarter to Update....Wait, What?

 

Evidently Ken "Whit" Whitman posted an update to his Deck Dice Kickstarter....you remember, Kickscam #6 (Editor Note: depends on how you're counting...) that raised $5,197...back in 2015!

Now we cannot see the update and would appreciate some screenshots.....hint...hint...(email at the end of the post), but the speculation is that since it's private he's asking for shipping information/funding.

By our quick count he "only" has to produce 300 decks of cards, and roughly a third of those are going to six backers. The thought process for this writer is that fulfillment might actually be doable and knocking this one out has some implication further down the road, like starting some other projects or being able to kick the unfulfilled projects down the road in some manner that benefits Ken "Whit" Whitman. Of course this is 110% speculation, but since our main man has done so much, or so little depending on POV, to NOT fulfill his other Kickstarters, that dipping back into this quagmire has to have some potential future payout......

One thing we did find peculiar was that according to Kickstarter the last day that "Kenneth Edward Jr Whitman" logged into Kickstarter was May 5th, but his last update was May 7th......does Kickstarter allow you to post date updates?

Probably nothing of note, but when you make a habit of looking at sketchy behavior, incongruous dates stick out like a sore thumb.....

We were able to get a copy of the update...
