2017.08.27 Ken "Whit" Whitman Still (kind of) has a Wikipedia Page
We received a tip late at night the other day about Ken "Whit" Whitman's Wikipedia page. Because of the hour looking into this had to be put off, but this editor's initial reaction was that maybe Ken "Whit" Whitman had tried to resurrect the page in order to see who hops on to edit the thing.

We looked at the page....it's only a draft page, and the revision history isn't pretty.

It looks like a little bit of back and forth between contributors and editors, especially from back in 2015. Of course now that we have the hindsight available from two years of pretty much nothing (Kickstarter-wise) it might be a good idea to re-submit some much-needed changes.

Of course, Not-Another-Dime (for Ken Whitman) should not be referenced as a primary source. All we've tried to do here is gather up information into one location, with links to the primary sources were possible (stuff has been deleted all over the place).

  1. Kenny is exploiting Wikipedia's policy of being very leery of posting information about living persons for fear of a libel suit.
If we point to Kickstarter indicating that none of Ken Whitman or d20 Entertainment's Kickstarters have been brought to completion, and that d20 Entertainment has been locked out of starting any new Kickstarters, and that Ken Whitman is also 'wanted' by the Atlanta acting community for collecting "a quarter of a million dollars" for actor video portfolios that have not materialized, this is all eminently factual and should be sourced on the Wikipedia page (to show others that Ken is a fabulous collector of money but zero at realizing projects.)

  2. Does anyone have a source for the $250k the Atlanta community is out? I've seen it mentioned by have yet to see a source for that statement. Also since the article on Wikipedia is in Draft mode ... that means that if you go to the Wiki site and search for the article you will not have it come up in the search.
