Ken "Whit" Whitman's Glorious TV Debut
No real news to report, but our main man Ken "Whit" Whitman did have about seven seconds of screen time on the pilot episode of MacGyver.

Now when Ken "Whit" Whitman tries to explain that he can't fulfill his Kickstarter obligations, it is because of his new film career, as demonstrated for seven seconds on TV last week.

    His membership dues to the Screen Actor's guild seems to cost more than he made from his non-speaking/constipated/incontinent/ear-scratching (See Tenkar's comments) performance. He is going into debt to satisfy whatever is left of his ego and self esteem. Like paying someone to be his friend. Where are our kickstarter rewards, Ken? Where is the KoDT footage and the Traveller resin? Obviously you have time to sign up for open calls for non-speaking extras.

    I don't begrudge Ken trying to earn money that *doesn't* involve using equipment paid for by Kickstarter backers, but man - non-speaking extra parts pay very, very, poorly. He's better off abandoning his dreams of big screen stardom to go flip burgers. He might not make much, but in a 40 hour week, he'd make more than he will for non-speaking extra roles (assuming rates are what they were a few years ago) and and that would at least be a start. This, of course, assumes he cares about paying anybody back or fulfilling those Kickstarters (which, of course, he obviously doesn't).

    He should be able to do better in acting jobs. After all, his acting skills were honed to a sharp edge when convincing Kickstarter backers that he was for real. Obviously! Any questions were arrogantly pushed back, giving the aura that he knew what he was doing (just not when he would do it.)

    I would like to see a video collage of Ken Whitman + Shia LaBeouf's famous motivational "Do it!" YouTube video.
