A Brief Introduction to this Page's Purpose

Not Another Dime! is dedicated to documenting the assorted, and sometimes wild, details of Mr. Ken Whitman's business dealings within the Role Playing Game (RPG) industry. This place is NOT intended to be a medium of discussion about Mr. Whitman, pro or con, but instead be a "jumping off" point to enable the reader to make their own informed decision about Mr. Whitman's history and business character. (Editor's Note: After years of this documentation, we simply cannot be anything BUT "con" when it comes to Mr. Whitman)

Whenever possible, links to the original source material will be provided, but in many cases that information may have been deleted or secured behind restricted-access (like a private Facebook page) accounts.

Anything posted here is the opinion of the retrospective author and any content shown is to be considered "fair use" and posted for educational purposes only.

Note to authors: Please begin each post with the original date of the event being documented in the format of YYYY.MM.DD (i.e. If the event being recorded happened on March 15th, 2015 and today's date was August 8th, 2018 the beginning of the post's title would be 2015.03.15 and not 2018.08.08) so readers can use the Chronology page to find specific information. Please use appropriate tags when possible for the same reason.

2016.03.12 NAD is "Kenny's" Page?

If you have way too much time on your hands (seriously), head on over to Tenkar's Tavern to scroll through the biggest wall of text I have ever seen on a blog.

Erik has pretty much put the entirety of the NSFW Facebook message exchange between Ken "Whit" Whitman and one Sufflatus Lorem, a fan of NAD.

I think the highlights from yesterday are sufficient, but if you have the time to kill, and the patience to read a wall of poor spelling, then by all means, be my guest.

I personally like this small shout-out:

Yeah...if this was "your" page Mr. Whitman, then you've got some serious self-worth issues....but for the record Ken "Whit" Whitman, you need to know the difference between libel and slander....and that the best defense for anyone accused of either is the truth. You've libeled folks in the past and claim to be able to sue for slander....and that some DA will "pay" for the investigation....clearly he needs to understand the difference between civil and criminal offenses, in addition to libel vs. slander, himself.

No....I am not a lawyer, but even a basic college course on the legal environment covers these topics......

So Ken "Whit" Whitman does pretty much screw over everybody...

After the debacle that is his FB tirade with somebody it seems he suspects is somebody else, we learn of yet another person left in his wake. Presumably another ex-wife....

One of the blog comments, possibly one I had to remove at the author's request (possible pending litigation, IIRC) was from someone who Ken "Whit" Whitman scammed into doing some art for his Traveller KS. A small partial payment was made.....from Kristin's paypal/credit card. This secondary account of Ken "Whit" Whitman using Kristin and/or Kristin's money meshes with her 1st-hand account:

Believe it or not, this is a hard post to put up.....

You guys need to go over to Tenkar's Tavern and see the screenshots put up by one of our commentators regarding a recent FB exchange with Ken "Whit" Whitman.

So NSFW, and there are some big...no HUGE revelations regarding how low Ken "Whit" Whitman will stoop.

I just have to ask, if our hero is willing to go stupid so quickly with a random guy, how bad do you think he has been with those he's had to work with/screwed over on his Kickstarter projects?

2016.03.10 Ken "Whit" Whitman's New "Production Company"

Evidently Mr. Ken "Whit" Whitman has used his KODT:LAS-funded equipment towards forming another "production company".

Now these videos were highlighted a bit ago, and we got word about trying to start an "Atlanta Actor's Co-Op". Well, the name got changed....something that Ken "Whit" Whitman does once in a while and it is now called Atlanta Actors Marketing.

A quick search of the Georgia Secretary of State doesn't show Ken Whitman, Whit Whitman, or any current legal business entity with the word "Actor" in it. Pretty much the standard we're used to seeing.

The pictures and links are just re-hashes from Ken "Whit" Whitman, so nothing new to see.....unless you count the address listed right on the page...well, pages.

If any process servers manage to read this page, there are the convenient business hours listed....really?

From the page: "We shoot in 1080p with prime lenses and a boom microphone overhead. Simply put, we shoot quality. Video Auditions and Monologues are $15 per 1/2 hour. Bring a thumb drive and leave with your audition in hand!"

Now it wouldn't be fair for me to pontificate on Ken "Whit" Whitman's idea of "quality", but since he's using the equipment used to shoot the KODT:LAS, maybe we could look at that video as an example?
